You will need:

  • a¬†handful¬†of¬†strawberries
  • one ripe banana
  • some ice

A smoothie  is is a blended  beverage made from fresh fruit (fruit smoothie) In addition to fruit, many smoothies include crushed ice, frozen fruit, honey or other ingredients like peanut butter, yoghurt, nuts and seeds. Smoothies make a great snack, meal or recovery shake from a hard workout.

Smoothies¬†can offer you a terrific nutritional boost, especially if you make your own smoothies and you know they don’t have any artificial ingredients or powders.

I choose to drink smoothies first thing in the morning. It gives me energy, it’s refreshing, ¬†it fills me up and of curs I adore the taste of it! Not to mention that contains a lots of fibre and vitamins&minerals because the whole fruit is used!

Be aware, smoothies can contain a lots of unhealthy ingredients like sugar, syrups, whipped cream, ice cream and so on. Make your own smoothie!
